Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States. Raised as a rich boy, he became a champion of the people in the White House. For the good or bad, he helped the United States become a world power in the Spanish-American War during the age of Imperialism. A big game hunter, he also did more than any other President to preserve nature. A soldier, a stateman, an explorer, and more, there has never been anyone quite like Theodore Roosevelt in our history.
