The mission of the Pendleton Community Public Library is to provide traditional library services, creative initiatives, and up-to-date technology in a comfortable facility with friendly, helpful staff. Despite all of the ways that public libraries are evolving, we still consider traditional library services to be at our core. Whether you need help researching your ancestors, using a new electronic device, or just looking for your next great read, the library is here to help. The library holds a collection of nearly 70,000 titles, and our librarians are always working to make sure that the collection is fresh and relevant to the needs of our patrons. We have books, movies, and magazines, a copy and fax machine, and even a notary public on staff. The Pendleton Community Public Library is all you’d expect it to be, plus so much more.

We enjoy trying new things, and sometimes we’re pretty darn good at it. Check out the Pendleton Community Garden, the Alpha Seed Library, and Read ‘n’ Feed as examples of how thinking outside the box can build a community. Did you know that you can visit the library for free Yoga instruction or one-on-one help with your resume? Stop in to see what’s going on in the teen department. There just might be a book discussion, video game tourney, or meeting of the Anime Society. We are always looking for new ways to serve our patrons, and we love to surprise you.
