Indianapolis Public Library - Brightwood

The Brightwood Branch Library has served the residents in the Brightwood-Martindale community since 1901 and was the sixth public library to open in Indianapolis. In April 2020, the Brightwood Branch Library will open the doors of its new, 15,000-sq.-ft. building directly across Sherman Drive from the current library's location at Sherman and 25th Street. The new library's name will be changed to the Martindale-Brightwood Branch Library to better reflect its mission to serve the residents of all ages in both the Martindale and Brightwood neighborhoods. More information about the library, its services, and its collection is available on the Indianapolis Public Library website at www.indypl.org.
