disABILITYsa has partnered with the San Antonio Area Foundation-SALSA (Successfully Aging and Living in San Antonio) and City of San Antonio Disability Access Office to host a series of panel discussions sharing the lived experience from the diverse perspective of the disability community. The panelists will share their experiences and thoughts for identifying barriers in finding affordable and accessible housing and opportunities for change.
I would like to invite you to join us at our first panel discussing the experiences of those living with physical disabilities. This panel will be the first in a series of five sessions. Four of the sessions will cover the challenges in finding affordable and accessible housing from a different lived experience perspective in the disability community (mobility, sensory, cognitive, and chronic medical). The fifth session will build strategies for action items to move our community forward. You are welcome to join us for one session or all of them.
