Chess A2Z March Webinar with NM Austin Tang "Practical Prophylaxis: Anticipating Your Opponent’s Ideas"
Prophylaxis is not about defense. Strong chess players don’t just react to threats; they anticipate their opponent’s ideas before they happen. In this webinar, learn how to recognize your opponent’s plans and improve your own position at the same time. NM Austin Tang will use practical examples to help apply prophylactic thinking in your own games.

About the Seminar
Prophylaxis is not about defense. Strong chess players don’t just react to threats, they anticipate their opponent’s ideas before they happen. In this webinar, learn how to recognize your opponent’s plans and improve your own position at the same time.
Topics include: 1) How to identify your opponent’s real idea; 2) Stopping threats, if necessary, while developing your pieces; 3) Passive defense vs active defense — when to defend and when to counterattack. Austin will use practical examples to help apply prophylactic thinking in your own games.
