The Archaeological Research Institute

The Archaeological Research Institute (ARI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Lawrenceburg, IN, dedicated to researching, preserving, and sharing the region’s archaeological heritage. Its team of archaeologists leads hands-on educational programs, community engagement, and preservation efforts to protect at-risk sites while involving the public in meaningful ways. Through research, tours, and collaborative conservation work, ARI fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of local history.
