Apple picking at Tuttle Orchards

Apples are typically ripe for picking Saturdays in late August, and daily through in September until mid to late October. Not all apples ripen at the same time – so depending on when you come different apples will be available for picking. First date for 2019 season will be August 23rd. We will start picking Early Blaze on August 23 and Gala on August 30. All other varieties are not ripe until September. Choose between a $7, $15, or $25 bag to fill with apples. New for 2019, everyone who purchases a $25 bag will get a free Tuttle’s reusable bag. You may pick as many as you want, but you must purchase all the apples that you pick.
Early Blaze – late August
Gala – typically Labor Day weekend
Cortland – typically second week of Sep-late September
Jonathan – typically second or third week of Sep through early October
Red Delicious – typically last week of Sep to mid October
Gold Delicious – typically last week of September to mid October.
