The day kicks off with the annual Stars & Stripes Forever Fourth of July Parade presented by Gaylor Electric at 4:30 p.m. Registration to participate in the parade is $25 (nonprofits are not charged) and entries must be submitted by June 30.
The free Fireworks Festival presented by IDI Composites International will take place at Forest Park from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will include traditional park amenities such as playgrounds, shelters and shade; along with festival items like a mobile zipline, an axe throwing trailer, flying trapeze, inflatables, trackless train and a kids area. An adult area will include a beer garden and games. Hairbangers Ball will perform on the Republic Services Main Stage from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The day will end with the annual fireworks show, which will begin at 10 p.m.
In addition to all the events planned, Forest Park will also be featuring a limited VIP section where families and friends can purchase tables for the evening. These tables offer up-close seating to the live music performance, an exceptional view of the fireworks, and a great meeting place to safely gather and eat in between activities.
VIP table groups may bring in their own food and drink, participate in a table-decorating contest, and get access to separate VIP restroom options. This new area expands the festival’s seating and viewing options. Tables seat eight people and cost $160. Online registration will open to the public at 8 a.m. Friday, April 30. Funds received for VIP section accommodations help defray costs of hosting the community event
Parking will be extremely limited at Forest Park on July 4th. Only handicap parking will be available on marked spaces along Cicero Road. Proper tags must be displayed to be able to park in this area while spaces are available. Permit parking passes will be available for The Lodge and Forest Park Aquatic Center sold by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and Aquatic Center.
The Festival Planning Committee is limiting the parking spaces due to public safety. With so many activities and people walking around the park and on the road, we need to make sure it is safe for all of our guests and their children. Trolley rides will run continuously throughout the festival.
Guests are encouraged to utilize the numerous downtown parking lots and on street parking and walk to the festival using the pedestrian bridge across the White River or State Road 19. Due to their proximity, Federal Hill Commons and the Moose Lodge will be park and walk lots.
