2025 DAR Colonial Fair
Free Outdoor Colonial Fair for youngsters and families of all ages Saturday May 10 from 9:00-4:00pm on the grounds of the Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter DAR 4635 N Illinois in Indianapolis . Celebrating year two this America 250 public event includes active participation in historic Indiana frontier life. Experience immersion in a large Revolutionary War era village. First person presentations by reenactors sharing perspectives of diverse people of the period music & dance, food & drink.

Celebrating year two this fabulous America 250 event includes active participation in historic Indiana frontier life. Hundreds of guests of all ages experience immersion in a large Revolutionary war era village where activities from the time include spy craft, an eagle scavenger hunt, crafts, wax seal making, hide tanning demonstrations, live animals, wool spinning and weaving on a loom and an 18th century laundry. Colonial children's games, tavern games, rope making, mercantile, flags of the Revolutionary War, Native American games, Patriot militia enlistment, British military, stockades, first person presentations by historic reenactors sharing perspectives of diverse people of the time, period music and dance as well as food and drink!
