Mark your calendars for the 23rd annual Bloombox Festival (formerly Independent Music + Art Festival), a day-long outdoor festival featuring independent local musicians and visual artists in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. This annual event honors local musicians and artists who perform original live music and create original work. It provides a unique opportunity for interaction with other local artists and the community. Bloombox 2024 is a FREE festival that takes place on Saturday, June 15th, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Bands are featured on two stages in the exterior courtyard of the Harrison Center in conjunction with the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange, a DIY contemporary craft fair featuring handmade goods ranging from plush toys to bath and body products, from screenprinted rock 'n' roll poster art to custom vintage-inspired western wear, from fanciful undergarments to wooden jewelry.
