Our mission extends beyond the racecourse, as we rally behind the cause of PANDAS and PANS awareness. A significant portion, 25%, of each registration fee will be dedicated to supporting the PANDAS Network. This organization is committed to enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of children afflicted by PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) and PANS (Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome). By uniting a formidable coalition of medical professionals, researchers, and scientists, the PANDAS Network amplifies public understanding, furnishes vital assistance to families, and aggregates data and resources to enlighten parents and the medical community about these often-misunderstood and devastating disorders.
Throughout the entire month of October, the challenge unfolds on your own terms, allowing you to conquer your chosen distance at your own pace. This event embraces inclusivity, warmly inviting participants spanning all generations to unite and lend their unwavering support to this pivotal cause.
In recognition of your remarkable achievement and substantial contribution, every participant will be rewarded with an exquisite 3-inch vinyl sticker and a personalized bib. These tokens serve as tangible reminders of your active engagement and steadfast commitment. With a modest registration fee of $8, you not only secure these cherished keepsakes but also bolster our philanthropic endeavors.
